Best place to meet mature women?

I have been married for 28 years and am now single. Where would be some good places to meet women in the 35 to 50 year old range?

    Scads of places!

Take a class, either academic or on an interest or hobby. (Cooking classes highly recommended, BTW.) Join a gym or try a Jazzercise class. Volunteer for a political or social cause. Work on Habitat for Humanity. Attend your city’s or town’s council meetings. Essentially, create situations for yourself where the nature of what you’re doing means interacting, or has the potential for interacting, with others who are doing it, too. Some of them will be women.

This doesn’t mean you should learn to crochet or attend bible study if that’s not what you’re interested in doing, of course. It means to actively pursue your interests and to be open to new ones, so you’re not just going home and turning on the TV very many evenings and weekends.

There are loads of great women looking for you. Make yourself visible.

Luby’s Cafeteria or at a flea market.

Oh wait! Do a search for mail order brides…

Super markets are one of the best places to meet 35-50 women. Ask questions about produce or meat and someone may jump in to help you. They are there to meet single men too.

LOL at the first answer. Sorry, I couldn’t help it.

I agree with the library thing. I’m friends with an older woman that met her second husband at a *clears throat* "older people’s" singles dance.

There are some church groups that have singles nights. I would not recommend most online dating sites. The library is a nice place too. You can join a book club there and maybe meet someone. But I do believe that you find romance when you’re not looking too hard for it.

Wow…………28 years and back on the market!!! That must be rough! But good women are all over. Its just takes time to find the right one. All women are different and it depends on what you’re looking for in them. Go to church, workplace, college campus also has a variety of age groups, gym, restaurant, etc.

Dont look too hard though. Allow the right woman to come to you and you’ll be a lot better off. Dont fall the ones that seem to be too aggressive and desperate. They mean you no good and probably are GOLD DIGGERS, just want you for your money.

    Any home between 9am-5pm…hehe jk.
Try taking a walk on a busy street and search for a convient cafe. Relax, get a cup of coffee, read a magazine, book, newspaper and see what comes in.

Grocery stores are highly overrated – I’m 49 and have been divoreced 10+ yrs and was single and on my own for 7 yrs before getting married and I never met any women in grocery stores or even saw any that looked like they were looking for guys
