You didn’t know why you consider to convert to any religion? You don’t need new friends, you need to think about it by yourself. You need to take an inward journey and figure it out yourself. You may stay with Islam or choose another religion, or renounce religion altogether, but no outside influences should affect your decision. Because it is only YOUR decision.
go to the mosque..
I would look up different masajid (mosques) in London that are nearby where you live. It would be great if you could attend the prayers during Ramadan because you will most likely find a lot of Muslim women there that you can speak to. There are 10 days left in the month of Ramadan, and there should be a lot of people attending the mosques for prayers and breaking of the fast.
Which area do you live in?
Also, don’t worry if your friends don’t understand right now. You are welcome to keep talking to them and be friends, just like normal.
If you can’t answer their questions about Islam, it’ll just take time for you to learn yourself before you become comfortable answering other people (don’t worry, it’s normal.) 
Most importantly, just pray to Allah whenever you need help and are feeling lost about something – He’ll definitely help you find a way.
Where ever you live, it doesn’t matter. What ever you choose your religion it’s your way …. religions or believed related with your deep heart. As long as your follow your heart with God’s Love and Light … you will find out the way to a real Muslim.

Stanmore. I don’t know if you’ve heard of it or not, but it’s in london, and half of my family lives there. I was born there but i moved to America. In america there is like, a billion muslims.
