When i am walking down the street men will turn to check me out and smile like they want to say something. but they never take the step to actually say anything..so i would like a mans thoughts on that. why are you guys hesitant and why don’t you just walk up and say what you would like to say.

Getting shot down and low self esteem. Some women get approached so much they become rude and men do not know how to approach a woman most of the time.

First of all we’re hesitant because we’re not sure if what we want to say will offend you or if we’ll get shot down. To a lot of men, getting rejected is one of the worst pains in the world.
Because we women are intimidating as fuuuck lol. Seriously, they probably think you’re out of their league and don’t want to get shot down. Or well, they could just be shy (I couldn’t approach a guy if my life depended on it no matter how much i wanted to). Or they could be already taken.

If a guy gets shot down in flames often enough, he’ll be a little bit hesitant about taking risks. That’s why we like it when the lady makes the first move sometimes. It takes away a LOT of pressure.
Men hate being rejected, so therefore they tend to avoid it. That is why when a guy shows obvious signs he likes you and then never speaks up about it.
Now what I don’t understand is to why when you show interest in a guy that obviously likes you and he ignores you.
To answer your question, either a man is not that interested or he is already involved with someone.
If a man really wants to talk to you, he will muster up the nerves to do so. Do not accept excuses from women or men about being afraid of rejection. If a guy wants you, he will find a way to get you.
